CUPE supports Carla Beck’s No Tax Hike Guarantee
Today, Saskatchewan NDP Leader Carla Beck kicked off her election campaign with a guarantee she will not raise taxes when she becomes premier.
“People are struggling. We’ve got to lower costs and that’s exactly what we’ll do,” said Beck. “We want to give folks a guarantee that unlike Scott Moe and the Sask. Party, we won’t raise your taxes – in fact we’ll lower them,” added Beck, who has already announced she would suspend the provincial gas tax.
CUPE Saskatchewan fully supports Beck’s pledge to lower costs.
