Calling all new convention delegates!
We are offering a virtual new delegate orientation session to make sure that first-time (and returning) delegates feel ready to fully participate at the upcoming CUPE Saskatchewan Convention 2026 in Saskatoon.
The orientation session will explain the rules and procedures to participate, provide an overview of the agenda and caucus meetings – and answer all your questions.

Can’t make it to the virtual session? A recording will be available for delegates upon request.
This virtual session will replace the in-person session usually held the evening before convention.
The 2026 Annual Convention of CUPE Saskatchewan will be convened and called to order at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, in-person at the Delta Hotels Saskatoon Downtown (405 20th Street East) in Saskatoon.
Convention proceedings will be held over three days from March 4 to 6, 2026.

CUPE represents members working in various Community-Based Organizations (referred to as CBOs) across Saskatchewan which provide a wide array of services including: child care, care in group homes and vocational training for people living with disabilities, and community services such as shelters and addictions treatment, through multiple agencies in various cities and towns.
There are 35 CUPE Local Unions representing over 1,300 members in the CBO sector across Saskatchewan.
Each CUPE local in the CBO sector is encouraged to send delegates to both the CBO Workers of Saskatchewan AGM and the CUPE Saskatchewan Convention.

Each year, delegates from affiliated CUPE Locals Unions gather at the Annual Convention of CUPE Saskatchewan Division to set the direction and determine priorities for the year ahead, hear reports on the vital work being done by our union, elect members to leadership positions, approve financial statements, and engage in important policy discussions on the issues facing CUPE members and the public services we provide to Saskatchewan communities.
