Saskatchewan education workers launch province-wide survey on impact of education cuts
CUPE Saskatchewan’s Education Workers Steering Committee (EWSC) is calling on the public to speak up about the impact that years of government underfunding has had on schools. The EWSC has launched a province-wide survey to hear directly from those affected by the cuts – education support workers, teachers, administrators, and parents.

Estevan health care workers bring concerns to local health minister
This week, CUPE 5430 Region 4 health care workers met with the MLA for Estevan-Big Muddy Lori Carr to discuss the challenges facing frontline workers. Carr is also the Government House Leader and Minister of Mental Health and Addictions, Seniors and Rural and Remote Health. Several frontline health care workers attended the meeting and shared their experiences with Carr.
